Okay...so we've been a little busy!

[Disclaimer...I've been having great difficulty trying to get these pictures to move where I want them to in this post...so you might have to do a little work to follow along!]

Our summertime came and went...

We've had snake sightings...inside the house (oh, yes...about 10pm at night when Grant was out of town...thankfully, the neighbor came and rescued me off of the coffee table!) and outside...

We've had tea parties....

and....

We finally went to Disney World!!!!

(Nope...you guessed it...this picture is not Disney World, but the first day of preschool for Audrey!)

We got new haircuts...

We had first day of school....1st grade for Madison / 3 yr preschool for Audrey

We've had Halloween!!

And we've had a house on the market...and a house that sold...and a NEW HOUSE! Finally!

So we've been a little busy...but are trying to catch up! Hope you all are doing well!

Hope all of you have had a great Memorial Day weekend...Us, we've just been bored! Can you tell? Grant will be home on Tuesday and we are super excited!! It's been a long 2 weeks...I figured it would since this is the (dare I say it) LAST hitch!! Yeah!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday (Party) Audrey!

Easter morning!!!My beautiful girls!

The girls and Grant!
It's been a busy few weeks here in the Pittman household. Grant has been away and will only have one last time offshore before he will be permanently based in the Chevron office in Covington (Whoo Hoo!!). We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. June 8th is his official "start" date in office. He has been going offshore as part of a training program since Feb. 2008, and we are more than excited to have him home each and every night now! Thank you Grant for taking care of us and providing for us. And now...thank you in advance, for bathing the girls EVERY night NOW! ha ha ha

We had Audrey's little birthday party at Emily and Jay's (last minute location move - thanks Jay and Emily!), and had a fun time with family! The kids had an impromptu Easter egg hunt, complete with their Walmart plastic bags (So many uses for those Walmart bags....in this case, they were great Easter baskets).

A Muddy Mess!

Did I mention that we had torrential rain the past few days?....I think I did.

And did I mention what happens to our backyard when we get lots of rain?....A muddy mess!

And did I mention, that we've all been a little bored stuck inside with the rainy weather?....

Well Not Today!!!

I just had to take some pictures (because I was going nuts on the inside, but trying to let Madison have a little fun!)

Did I mention....that after Madison came in and took a bath, and we got all cleaned up...that I deleted the pictures by accident?

And did I mention....that because I deleted the pictures....I let Madison go back outside (after just getting out of the bath), and do a repeat photo shoot?

Am I losing it or what? If you think so.... Just don't mention it!

Spring Has Sprung!

Despite the last few days of torrential rain, we've had some very pretty weather. Before Grant left this last time to go offshore, we took advantage of the weather, and headed to the park with the girls. I'm still playing with my camera that I got at Christmas, and was looking to take a few pics of the girls, as well. I think they got tired of me...but, oh well!! One day, they'll be glad that they had a camera in their face all the time!!

(This one is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!! I love it!)
